"damn look at these chinks. let’s laugh at one of their languages. let’s check out the people’s vaginas to see if the vaginas are sideways. let’s laugh at them for boiling their water while we die from water borne diseases. let’s ban them from immigrating to this country so we can protect the jobs to help our people. let’s kill vincent chin. oh they’re doing well in school??? remove them. they’re a threat. orientalism is cool. let’s make it harder for the chinks to get scholarships. but damn, chinese women are so exotic! will they be my china dolls? ”
wow anon. you got me.
I want to do a Ted Talk where I come out and I go: “Hey guys, I know the world today is racked by sectarian violence, police brutality, racial segregation, pandemic viruses, a deteriorating environmental situation, global and systemic inequality, and wanton consumerism, but we aren’t in trouble…”,…
White people should not be put on a pedestal for defending People of Color, or for raising awareness of structural racism. Our contributions should be regarded as nothing more than a minimal form of paying back reparations on an individual level. If you are a white person and you expect something in return for your efforts, even praise, then you are a self-entitled racist. You are entitled to nothing because the point at which you start is a point of indefinite indebtedness.
